At the same time the major city centres re-development in the Wood Street area with big new buildings for the BBC and HMRC (to name a few) will mean thousands of extra workers in the city centre. With limited city centre parking and limited public transport, it’s likely more people are going to be looking to live within Cardiff rather than choosing to live further afield. This should further fuel the demand for properties.

All these factors bode well for the future. At the same time the expectations of tenants are growing. More tenants are expecting better quality accommodation as standard and we find that the best quality properties not only let faster but also have the benefits of extra rent for the landlord.

The current market is growing but changing and it’s important for landlords to be willing to change with it. The feedback from tenants over recent years is that the levels of service they expect are higher and they want the whole moving in process to be simplified, whilst removing the laborious deposit process. This package aims to address all of those things by increasing rent and providing additional services such as housekeeping and cleaning.

Although it’s in its early stages of going to market, the reaction from tenants has been very positive, which means it will make it far easier to rent your property with this model.
