This South Wales letting agency is celebrating after scooping two top property awards. Pinnacle Letting agents (of Cardiff, Treforest and Newport ) won Gold in the Best Property Management Agency at the prestigious Lettings Agency of the Year Awards held in London. They also won the bronze award in the Best Student Letting agency category in association with the Times, The Sunday Times and Zoopla. They were awarded their accolades by Karren Brady, vice chair of West Ham Football club and Lord Sugar's right-hand woman in the apprentice. The judges were impressed by the way Pinnacle treats landlords and tenants as equal customers. Pinnacle's team also won top marks for their efficient approach to dealing with over 800 properties and ticking off a relentless to-do list. Their rigorous approach to third party contractors was praised, as was their efforts to meet landlords' and tenants' individual needs.
The judges noted Pinnacle's success at ingraining itself in student life in Cardiff. "There is a Pinnacle presence at fresher's week and graduation ceremonies, the brand is active on Facebook and Twitter, there is support for student elections and even the distribution of branded clothing bearing the unmistakable `I Love Fanny Street' campaign slogan." Pinnacle was also praised for its software log which allows tenants to report maintenance issues and view when contractors are attending. It was noted that Pinnacle is not frightened of driving up property standards, even showing landlords other properties on its books to illustrate the standard of let it expects.
Pinnacle was started in 1997 by Wyn Griffiths and Glyn Trott, after they graduated from Cardiff University. Originally based in Cathays, Cardiff, they have now opened new branches in Treforest and Newport. Director Wyn Griffiths says "It's fantastic that the dedication of our staff has resulted in Pinnacle being the best property management company in Britain!"
