Glyn Trott and Wyn Griffith have taken a standard business idea and transformed it into a company, which is second to none in the letting industry. They started out in 1997 with just a handful of houses on their books. But they soon realised that Pinnacle could be much more than just a run-of-the-mill letting agency. They began to work on a unique concept in the letting industry – a totally internet based letting management system backed up by a outsource lettings centre. The beauty of it was clear – tenants and landlords could do their business on-line, while their properties would be centrally managed by a call-centre style operation. It would leave the letting shops free to do what they do best – sell to tenants and landlords.

Glyn and Wyn decided a key to the success of this idea had to be their staff. Even in the early days, they were winning recognition for this. They were awarded Investors in People (Read more about Pinnacle's achievements) and went on to win the Investor of the Year award 2002. Glyn and Wyn became sought after after-dinner speakers at business conferences and IIP asked them to become ambassadors for the award. They were selected by the Welsh Development Agency to be Entrepreneurial role models for schools and colleges. They are also leaders of local landlord groups and letting agent associations.

Their expertise in their field has attracted media attention. They’ve been “business doctors” for the BBC, advisor's for consumer programmes on television and radio and have a written a number of articles for the local press and BBC Wales.
